Lava Bug

Lava Bug is a simple social media platform and search engine that allows users to find and exchange ideas.

Our site does not use complex algorithms and we present the information in two simple formats:

Latest Posts – Top of the feed are the latest posts from all users.
Most Popular Posts – Top of the feed are the most popular (by comments) posts from all users.

Besides simplicity, our platform was also designed to be a safer alternative to other websites.

Each post and comment contains a Report button, which can be used to report content that is inappropriate or offensive to other members.

Additionally, you have the ability to edit or delete your posts at anytime and you can edit your comments whenever you see fit (if you want to remove your comments you can use any text (i.e. “…”) but we do not delete them as that would disrupt the simple threading flow of the platform).

On a final note, our site is 100% free and is open to all adults (18 years of age or older) that are residents of the United States.
